  2. Large and Medium Canvas Sizes
  3. Each file is saved with two canvas sizes: Large and Medium. In general, 
  4. large-canvas size files are 15 MB in file size at 800 dpi. The medium-
  5. canvas size files are exactly one-half as wide and tall as their large-
  6. canvas size counterparts, making the file sizes about one-fourth as large.

  8. High Resolution and Low Resolution Files
  9. Each large-canvas and medium-canvas image is saved at 800 dpi for high-
  10. resolution reproduction and at 72 dpi for position-only placement. The 
  11. low-resolution files possess exactly the same canvas dimensions as their 
  12. high-resolution counterparts to provide precise and efficient image 
  13. replacement when the file is ultimately prepared for high-resolution 
  14. output.

  16. TIFF Format
  17. The high-resolution and low-resolution versions of both canvas sizes are 
  18. saved as TIFF files because the images are in Bitmap format.

  20. File Names
  21. Images of either resolution/canvas size can be identified by the first six 
  22. characters of the file name. The file name suffix identifies the specific 
  23. resolution and canvas size of the file:
  24. LH.TIF = Large Canvas, High Resolution
  25. LL.TIF = Large Canvas, Low Resolution
  26. MH.TIF = Medium Canvas, High Resolution
